It is time to say goodbye to many if not most in the group. It has been a bouncy ride since November 2022 and while I cannot say it was good entirely, it was OK till it lasted.

Today it seems to serve no purpose to continue with this group as it has stopped being a movement it was intended to be and is just another one of those What’s app groups which occupy our phone memory.

Also a group is supposed to be made of people with whom we identify or relate to. Many in this Bharat Club, cannot relate to each other but for our color or country of origin.

What should matter is IDEOLOGY, belief in SHARED VALUES, camaraderie and a MANDATE. In reality it is the antithesis of this state that exists.

This was started as a group to stand up to Khalistanis and for the cause of India. But most present believe that it is OK to stand up to Khalistanis and at the same time support wholeheartedly the idea of Hindu Rashtra propagated by the Hindutava supporters.  This is a contradiction that cannot be accepted.

People believe that it is OK to propagate a secular, inclusive Canada and yet support blindly the communal agenda of Modi/BJP/RSS and call Muslims, Sikhs or even secular Hindus ugly names.

Even in Canada, people believe that it is OK and the Canadian thing to celebrate Rath yatras and various events which require public space and yet at the same time demean other minority religions when they do the same, with administration approval for their cause.

A movement should be built on ideology and conviction and that is how it will stay.

We will continue to oppose Khalistanis because their cause of a separate country based on religion is wrong and at the same time we will NOT do that standing shoulder to shoulder with people who are eager to convert India into a Hindu nation and make minorities crave for a nation of their own so that they can stop living in a climate of fear and intimidation.

Going forward The Bharat Club will oppose all communal forces vociferously all over the world and especially in India and Canada. That means in India, opposing the communal agenda of Modi/BJP/RSS.

So thank you all and for the last time, people who believe in the Modi persona and are OK with the continuous trolling of religious minorities in India by his regime, please leave.

The rest who stay should be focused on a secular, inclusive, India and building a strong ideology based platform where no one dares to divide India into parts or tries to make its very citizens live in fear just because of their religious beliefs, eating habits or the caste or class that they belong to. And believe in a secular, inclusive and progressive Canada too.

Dasvidaniya for the people who leave! Keep walking for the group that remains!
