For decades ALL of us have seen them living on the land which WE seized and declared OURS and developed our fancy neighborhoods and drove our comfy cars.

For decades many of us have felt disgusted at their insect like existence- scavenging on left overs or garbage bins, running with fearful eyes on sighting a human or even piercing our ears with their uncontrolled barks, shivering in extreme cold or trying to search a drop of water on a hot summer day, going hungry many a nights and yet hoping to enjoying a hearty bite in their dreams.

They live everywhere in different forms- dogs, cats, pigeons, birds, raccoons, skunks, ….- some whose life forms we barely accept and many whom we despise.

They are just another life forms like US and have EQUAL rights like us on this planet. Alas mankind has used all its cunning and smartness to make laws which makes “objects” out of them than fellow living being.

Yet for years a FEW who have come forward to embrace them as our muted children and cared for, have been blessed and showered with their unconditional love-a slow blink, a smile or a a tail which cannot stop wagging with happiness in their presence.

In 2026, may your small acts of compassion on the streets enable eternal happiness and peace to be showered by the little angels on you.

May you join the tribe to be a GUARDIAN of the GALAXY and let the Galaxy take care of you.
