Dr Manmohan Singh – 26th September 1932 to 26th December 2024

Dr Manmohan Singh, one of the greatest visionary leaders of India, an economist by par excellence, a political leader and earlier a leading government executive and later the Finance Minister and Prime Minister of India for a decade.

In his entire life and one of the greatest journeys a soul can take, he left his stamp of honesty, simplicity and righteousness all the way.

He is known as the father of modern revolution in India comprising of accelerated economic growth, liberalization along with generous socialistic programs for the masses, focus on right to information and sharing of truth as well as development based on education and information technology.

One of the most educated world leaders, he was a man the entire world looked up to and revered and will remember for generations to come.

On 28th December 2024, to honor his memory, a remembrance and an all religion prayer meet was held in Toronto which was attended by various community members and leading activists. The program included first an all religion prayer meet in which scriptures and verses from various religions including Hinduism (both Vedic and Sanathan), Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism, Nirankari sect and even the modern Osho views were shared.

Thereafter tributes were made to Dr Singh by many including Prof Kahlon, Mr. Subhash Chand, Mr. Imran Adhami, Dr. Brar, Mrs Kahlon, Mr. Ali, Mr. Anand and Devanshu Narang
